I have a parishioner who is suffering depression with PTSD, and feels like no one can help.  I can discuss it no further (sorry!).

Lord, have mercy!

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.

O Lord, restore to this, Thy dear servant, the joy of Thy salvation.  O God of mercy who gives joy to your children, fill your servant with your joy and your peace.  Blessed Theotokos, by your prayers drive away all despondency from this child of God.
