For James
« on: May 09, 2010, 09:51:13 AM »
An older man in my parish named James has been battling with cancer for quite a while now. He was just this last week on his way to the Mayo clinic when his doctor informed him that in addition to all his other problems he now has prostate cancer as well. So please pray for James and his family.
All my hope I place in you, O Mother of God, keep me under your protection!

Why do posters that claim to have me blocked keep sending me pms and responding to my posts? That makes no sense.

Lord, have mercy!
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Lord, have mercy.
"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."" Isaac Asimov
