Have any of you ever read this booK?

If so, what do you think about it?

Can it help cure an ailing soul?

100. Like a bee one should extract from each of the virtues what is most profitable. In this way, by taking a small amount from all of them, one builds up from the practice of the virtues a great honeycomb overflowing with the soul-delighting honey of wisdom.

I read it quite a few years ago, so I'm hazy on details, but I do remember enjoying it and learning from it.

I'm suprised that this thread hasn't had more posts, as it's always been my impression that Met. Hierotheos was highly regarded.

I purchased the book online about two years ago.  I still am reading it, off and on.  It's essentially a distillation of the teachings of the Philokalia.  It's a great book for learning about the healing of the soul in the Orthodox ascetic.
