Since you're new, I suppose I'll forgive you for that slip up.

Yeah, what gives with some of the  taste in beer I see here?

Any mention of :
Budweiser(in all forms with the exception of Budvar), Miller, Coors or Michelob should be stricken from the forum by the moderator.    Wink

Sam Adams Boston Lager is my go-to at restaurants when their beer lists aren't very good.

My favorite lately has been Franziskaner Hefeweizen.

It really depends on the mood I'm in, but when I'm in the mood for a big boy beer I like this, though I am not particularily fond of the vulgarity in the name, I've certainly shocked people when I've ordered this at a restaurant:
Quote

Expect lovely, warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel and roasted malts, a bit of earthy spice, and a scintilla of dark fruit. It’s a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate.

Unfortunately, I can no longer tolerate gluten. But after a few years of sampling, I have finally found a really nice gluten-free beer.

Okay, who put Budweiser?! Gad.
Sorry... Tongue Grin

Don't apologize. I miss Budweiser. As far as your average run-of-the-mill beers go, I love(d) Bud.

Bottled Guinness can never compare to draft, but finding a place that pours it right has been an odyssey 'round these here parts.
