No.
It's part of the larger Afro-Asiatic language group, of which the Semitic tongues (Hebrew, Arabic, Ge'ez, etc) are a subgroup, but the Egyptian language comprise their own subgroup.
In short, it's related as, say, French and Russian are sub-groups in the Indo-European language group.

Does anyone know I can type in Coptic?
what I do to type in Greek is caps lock then hold shift+alt+2 and I get my Greek keyboard.
I want something similar to that.
What are some similar words between them all?

There may be some distant etymological links, but, on the whole, no. Again, they're as related as French and Russian are: members of the same large language family (eg. Indo-European) but are from different sub-groups (Romance and Slavic, respectively). |
