Hey all, I had a full physical done a couple weeks ago and today results from a chest x-ray came back and found a small nodule on my lungs. They said it's probably okay, but just in case I have to get a C-T scan done this Friday.

SPNs are fairly common, and it is most likely nothing to worry about (especially due to your age). They will probably want to watch its stability over the next few years.
I hope the CT scan goes well.

Thank you everyone! I appreciate your prayers...
As a short "update"... We do not know how large it is, nor where it is, my doctor didn't include that information in his report.
I have never smoked in my life, and haven't been exposed to heavy, consistent second hand smoke in about 3 years or more.
However, during Vietnam, my dad (at the time, he was my age) was misdiagnosed with tuberculosis and quarantined, however they discovered it was instead histoplasmosis. I was told that it is very possible that I may have the same thing, as histoplasmosis is very common in Missouri, especially among those who grew up around farms, animals or other similar conditions. I grew up around that for about 5-6 years then moved to city-like conditions, so it is entirely possible that this nodule could be histoplasmosis popping up.
Whatever it is, I have faith it will turn out okay, still, prayers are greatly appreciated!

Took forever... Went in at 7:30 and didn't get into the scan until about 10:00... Apparently some paperwork issues arose and they had to fix them.
They were supposed to do scans with dye and without dye, but they only did it without dye, which makes me wonder if I will have to go back.
Overall, i'm pretty positive. Things will be fine.

I just got a call from my mother, and the radiologist called our family doctor and told him that they found nothing wrong with my chest or lungs, that everything is fine. God is truly great!
