Please pray for my family. We are having some tough times right now and I am in the thick of things. My stepfather, who can be a very nasty man has caused a lot of trouble for us. He has been especially hard on my mother who has Bone Marrow cancer. I had to confront him about these things tonight and the results were none too pleasant. I felt that, despite any trouble that would result it was important for me to stand up for my mother who has already suffered so much over the past several years and whose health might become worse due to his persistant verbal abuse.
I don't know whats going to happen now between us, but I just couldn't let something like this that I knew was wrong and yet allowed out of fear of starting a family war continue to go on. Sometimes I feel guilt for having had to do this, but what other choice do I have at the moment.
