Prayers for my friend Ben
« on: April 10, 2010, 01:37:10 AM »
He seemed perfectly fine and he went in for checkups and they never found anything wrong with him until he caught the H1N1 (swine flu). They have found numerous heart problems and holes in his stomach and they do not know what caused it.
He is barley hanging in there and he wasn't supposed to make it through yesterday night but he did.
Please, prayers for his recovery and for his family are needed and highly appreciated.
Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Lord, have mercy on Your servant Ben!
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Ben passed from us, he was too weak for the transplant and they took him off of life support, I am not filled in on the details yet, but he passed away between yesterday and today.
Maybe his memory be eternal and may we be reunited with him in heaven.

Lord, have mercy.

May God give him rest.

If you spend long enough on this forum, you'll come away with all sorts of weird, untrue ideas of Orthodox Christianity.

I would suggest most persons in general avoid any question beginning with why.
