Please pray for my dad, James (non-Orthodox), who is in a very dark place emotionally in large part because of his negative work environment. Recently a new job opportunity has arisen: pray that, if it be God's will, this opportunity will become a new job, and a much needed personal "victory" for my dad so he won't feel so beat down all the time.

If you want advice or just to vent, whatever, please feel free to PM me. I have an experience that might be of some help - my own father (1930-1996) suffered from depression, even though he kept trying to hide it.
