  • St. Michael, defend us in the midst of battle.
Ten years
« on: January 12, 2004, 06:04:15 PM »
I was a juror on a heart-wrenching case this past November. I just found out the defendant, a young man in his early twenties, just received a ten year sentence.

Please pray for Christopher, for his repentence and healing and protection. May he allow God's grace to work in his life. Also for the healing and protection of his son Michael.

Please pray for me and the other jurors on this case as well. I guess I should have more faith in God's plan for this young man, but ten years in prison... what will become of him?

God have mercy on us all.  :'(

Lord Have Mercy on Christopher's soul for the Lord Himself said to remember and visit those who are in prison.

(PS, by today, Christopher may have already been paroled)

Lord have mercy.

Lord, have mercy.
"If you are going to serve the Lord, be prepared for times when you will be put to the test. Be sincere and determined. Keep calm when trouble comes. Stay with the Lord; never abandon Him and you will be prosperous at the end of your days. Accept whatever happens to you. Even if you suffer humiliation, be patient. Gold is tested by fire and human character is tested in the furnace of humiliation. Trust the Lord and He will help you. Walk straight in His ways and put your hope in Him. " Sir 2:1-6
