Glory to Jesus Christ !
Since the fast is technically over and this question has been on my mind for the last couple of days I decided to go ahead and post it here. Tomorrow (Holy Wensday) I have the opportunity to go to the Holy Unction Service. I was wondering as a non-orthodox person is it a service worth attending since I cannot receive the Holy Mysteries?
A Bleesed Holy Week to all

The fullness of the Truth is always worthy of participation.

Glory to Jesus Christ ! Glory Forever! ... I have the opportunity to go to the Holy Unction Service. I was wondering as a non-orthodox person is it a service worth attending since I cannot receive the Holy Mysteries? When I was a catechumen, I went to as many services as I could. Though I couldn't always fully participate, I always benefited from simply being there. I think that if you go, afterwords you'll definitely know it was worth it.

It's quite different from Holy Trinity.

Please go. You wouldn't refrain from Liturgy just because you couldn't take the Eucharist. Don't miss out on one of the greatest services of the year just because you can't fully participate.
