The hospital I work for has been talking vaguely about examining some positions to see if they are strictly necessary and my manager stopped by today to tell us that several jobs are being eliminated today, tomorrow, and Monday throughout the system, including in my department.  Please pray for those who are being laid off and for those fortunate enough to stay another day.

Lord, have mercy.

May God grant to each that which is conducive towards their eternal salvation...even being laid off.

Lord have mercy through the prayers of St. Xenia of St. Petersburg!

Lord have mercy on those who are losing their jobs.  Lord, provide for their needs.  Blessed St. Nicholas and Blessed St. Xenia, pray for them.
