Christmas at St Markella's Cathedral, Astoria, NY

I saw previously in another thread that someone had asked about CD's of Markis's chanting.  I just noticed that CD's of his chanting have become available again through HTM: http://www.thehtm.org/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?osCsid=737ca6a378043c6944b385079a7116a8&keywords=makris&osCsid=737ca6a378043c6944b385079a7116a8&x=0&y=0

I finally came around to ordering one of these Makris CD's. It's their Christmas album. It arrived today, and I have to say, this is possibly my favorite recording of Byzantine chant that I've heard thus far. The music here is so beautiful and beautifully delivered, it's spinetingling. I'll definitely get more from this group- it's crazy that they're not more widely available in the West.
