I have a lame question...

How do you pronounce "St. Cassiane"? (AKA St. Kassia)

Is it...

Cas-zhane?
Cassie-anne?
Cas-ain?
I'm off the wall and it's something else?

Cassie-anni (stress on the last syllabul)

When Greek is transliterated into English, the letter "eeta" (which looks a bit like a lower case "n") usually gets turned into an "e", but in Greek it is pronounced like "i" in "hip" (modern Greek. No one really knows for sure how it was pronounced in ancient or koine Greek)
