Please remember Sub-deacon Matthew in your prayers this week as he prepares for his ordination as Deacon this coming Sunday on his path to the Holy Priesthood.

I heard the ordination was wonderful! Axios Deacon Matthew! Congrats Eleni! Mnohaya Lita! It was quite a day: the blessing of new icons in that church (St. Nicholas, Homestead, PA - ACROD), the 60th anniversary of their ACRY Communion Breakfast, the tonsuring of a reader, and the ordination of now-Deacon Matthew. It was a beautiful service, one that I feel honored to have been able to attend and participate in.
