The Oldest Christian Church in existence is Assyrian (Church of the East):

Quote
Jubail Church is the oldest still remaining church in the world, located in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. It dates to the 4th century. It was discovered in 1986. The government hides it from locals and bans foreigners from visiting it, even archaeologists. It is an ancient Assyrian church possibily of the Nabatean culture.[1][2][3][4]

The architecture is really pretty.  Too bad Muslim's are so insecure about their religion.

The quote you posted said it dates to the 4th century. If so, then doesn't Dura Europas predate it by about 100 years or so?

Yes, it does, GregoryLA. Early 200s.

They are one hundred times more insecure about Assyrian Churches. The reason is since Islam was derived in part from the COE. Mohammed's Mother was Christian and he was even taught a little bit by the Assyrian monk Bahira. Whatever is in that Church they want to hide fast.

I regret posting that last link. It by a man who insists in calling the COE Nestorian.

Yeah, the problem is that Muslims don't want to admit that there were ever any Christians in Arabia. They are afraid that one day some of their people will realize that their "prophet" was influenced by deluded Christian teaching. Its a shame that they are not letting anyone see it. Knowing Muslims though (and especially the Sauds) they will probably destroy it, or at least destroy the crosses and cover up the existence of Christianity in Arabia.

It is a beautiful church. I especially like this cross that is in the doorway:
