May we begin the New Year blessing them for the work they do to bring us this forum, and for the forbearance they show in attending to our (cranky, cantankerous, longwinded) demands and requests to make this a place quite unlike the "Ohio" Forum.  We pray they continue to do so in strength and health, and with the wisdom they have hitherto shown to us.

May we pray not to act like a bunch of nursery school kiddies in desperate need of a nap for...oh..at LEAST a week Smiley

Almighty, eternal, just and merciful God, grant them in their misery [the grace] to do for You alone What they know You want them to do, and always to desire what pleases You. Thus, inwardly cleansed, interiorly enlightened, and inflamed by the fire of the Holy Spirit, may they be able to follow in the footprints of Your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord have mercy on us all!

Lord have mercy on us all.

As a result of a thousand million years of evolution, the universe is becoming conscious of itself, able to understand something of its past history and its possible future.
