Hi

I am looking for a music notation programe that features MIDI play, music notation, traspos, export files in various formats, etc.

I had Mozart installed but the demo expired and I could not reinstall it again. I hate that we have to pay for music programmes and that there are no free versions.

Does anyone here knows about a good notation programme for free?

If you find one, let me know.

In college when I dabbled with this kind of thing we used Finale, Cakewalk, and Band-in-aBox, none of which were free.  Hope your search produces fruit.

I may have the old version of Lime lying around here somewhere. The new version isn't free, but it's cheap enough ($70 if I remember) and the demo is fully functional.

Lime lives at the CERL Sound Group and can be downloaded from there.

For free? Nothing, but I'm sure you can find some "illicit" versions of Finale floating around on the internet.
