But it had not been in Tess's power - nor is it in anybody's power - to feel the whole truth of golden opinions while it is possible to profit by them. She - and how many more - might have ironically said to God with Saint Augustine, "Thou hast counselled a better course than thou hast permitted."
Probably Top Chef. Not sure why, I would hate to eat 75% of the stuff that they make on that show. I'm sort of a meat (medium well, thank you) and potatoes kind of guy. *shrugs*

Invader Zim *favorite*
One thing though, I only like the black and white versions. When Don Knotts left, the show was never the same. But I have seen every episode numerous times, and I still laugh just as hard. There were also some tear jerkers. Great stuff.
Currently, my DVR timers are, in order, as follows: Lost, Big Bang Theory, Good Eats, Important Things, House, Modern Family, 30 Rock, Community, Daily Show, and Colbert Report.

I have to endure all the cooking shows because my sons (especially the older) love them.Otherwise, I waste, er, spend time when I can watching O'Reilley Factor, Glenn Beck, All in the Family, Frazier, Malcolm in the Middle, That 70's Show, and sometimes Arthur (brings me back to when my sons were young).
