the most recent issue of Christian History Magazine (The first bible teachers: reading over the shoulders of the church's founding fathers) offers a great deal of information on the Church Fathers and their thinking and theology.  It's been a wonderful read - especially since it seems aimed at convincing Evangelical Protestants to investigate the history of the church.
