I am going to my first Orthodox Divine Liturgy this Sunday and I was wondering if it is best to be there at the start of Orthros or come just before the DL.  Thanks!

It's always good to come for Orthros AKA Matins, but if you're new, standing for an extra half hour may be daunting. Or it may just be exciting!

I would contact the priest and ask if the Orthos is done in English or not. Sometimes (Greek parishes esp.) will do the entire Orthos service in Greek, but do the Liturgy 80% English, 20% Greek.
