Dear Friends,
My former classmate's cat has been lost for more than a week. Pray that the cat is found safely and reunited with its owner.
Lord have Mercy.

My family lost one of our cats several years ago and he (Rocky) remained missing for about 9 months until one day when my wife was out walking our baby daughter in the stroller ran across him several streets from wear we lived. She couldn't get him to follow her so when she returned home I drove out there, found him and brought him home. We had a little welcome party for him ;-)
He doesn't wander off so far anymore...

Poor puss. Let's hope he/she turns up soon. Cats and dogs might be "only" critters, but, speaking from experience, it's awful when they go AWOL, or when they have to make that "last trip to the vet". They really do become part of our lives, and we humans are all the better for it.

Why is everyone so much connected with animals I don't know, but it's sure sweet and nice. Lord, have mercy on your servant...
