My friend Eric had recently returned to his abusive marriage because this time (the 5th time) things would be different, she had really "repented"; and in truth, we had no doubt of her good intentions. Unfortunately as they left New Jersey (our home) and moved back down to Florida, again- where he has no one, it has gone back to the same thing. I understate how bad this is, it is not physical abuse (this time... so far) but horrible as their finances are gone and she keeps him powerless to work. He wants to get out; he has been off his medicine for a week, so that's not helping. He is broken, and feels like he cannot hear God, nor cry out anything but accusations of God abandoning him- even though deep down he knows better.
Please pray for the Lord's mercy- and too for me and my wife, ourselves of limited resources; yet we want to help him in every way.

Glory to God! Eric is safely with us, and just as encourageing was that his wife showed real grace when he left; pray for them, both are victims, both need years of healing. Thank you all so much for your prayers.
