Please pray for an old friend of mine, Cheryl, who teaches history at a small university in New England. She is just a couple of years older than me (mid-50-s), and was recently diagnosed with what they called "a rare kind of breast tumor." Cher is expecting surgery next week. She has two sons, John and Benjamin, both now grown.

Thank you for your prayers! Just got a short message from Cher, saying that the surgery went well and she is now at home. Says her head aches and she misses caffeine, but other than that she is OK.  |
