Memorial for John Royce
« on: December 23, 2003, 03:58:59 PM »
Dear Friends,

When we first got the news of John's passing, a few of us, myself included, expressed an interest in visiting his grave and/or attending the memorial services for the fortieth day.  I emailed his priest to get some more information, and he informed me that it would be held on Saturday, 10 January 2004 at 3.15pm at

Saint Peter and Saint Paul Russian Orthodox Church
118 Carew St.
Springfield, MA 01104

I am posting this here for your information.  If there are any people who want to go and think they can make it, it would be good to know how many from OCNet are planning on attending.  Thank you.

I wish I could go - but distance is a wee problem :(

Yea, depending on who's going to go, distance, and conditions at the time, my vote is pending on whether or not I will be attending.

I just got in from Las Vegas visiting my brother, his wife passed 12/21/02 and he is alone and time for him is in question, but his spirit was charged by Brett & those Green Bay Packers last night.

Any way , if I was closer I would be there .

Please post updates.

I would like to go but cannot.

My prayers are with John (Hypo) and his family.
