Does anyone know where I can find resources for Vespers? I'm already aware of that saintjonah.org website, but I'm looking for stichera and things of that nature. My priest wants me to do a Reader's Vespers on Saturday nights since I am back at school in Florida. One of my friends who had fallen away from Orthodoxy is returning to the Faith through the Mystery of Repentance (Glory to God!) and he will be doing this with me along with the pre-communion prayers and canon. I would like to be able to commemorate the Saints of the day and by making the Reader's Vespers as complete as one possibly can without a priest.

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Smiley

Here are some good sources of what you want:

Archimandrite Ephrem

The OCA (New Calendar):

Hope these are helpful.

You should invest in The Great Horologion, published by Holy Transfiguration Monastery. It costs $120 or so, but it's what you need if you are going to do reader's services.
