Older yes, but infinetly less wise I'm afraid.

Since I missed the great discussion about if the carpetbagger Clinton becomes president (second women president in American history , Carter being the first)....I just feel I need to add that I would seriously consider leavng the country.  Perhaps I can rent a cell on the Holy Mountain starting in 2008  Cool

Thank God school is over now for a few weeks and it is time to start posting again.

Welcome back, Nektarios!

Funny remark about Carter.

If Hillary wins in '08 I will go into mourning and wear a black armband.

I would run to Canada, but they're more liberal up there than she is!

Maybe Argentina would be good.  Grin

Ha, I like the armband idea.

Cuba...well fidel already had the beard down, maybe we could convert him or something.  All out revolution might not be a good idea, didn't work for JFK, but then again democrats never do anything right.

How about France?  It is not like they'd put up a fight if we tried to invade!

France sounds good to me. All we have to do is throw a feint at Alsace and Lorraine, then roll through the Low Countries and on into Flanders, where the land is level and good for tanks.

Hey, it's already worked twice.  Wink

I want to live somewhere in the south of France, along the Mediterranean. I'm tired of freezing my booty off here in Virginia.

A nice vineyard and olive grove sound good to me . . .

Ambassador to the Holy Mountian it is!  (this means I get diplomatic immunity right?)

Since I am a kind (and never seeking my own self interests) I will be most glad to assist Linus in his task of wine tasting so he doesn't have to bear the heavy burden alone.

I will be most glad for your assistance, Ambassador Nektarios!

And we can get Br. Max to secure a heap of snails for us to enjoy while we guzzle taste the various wines of France.

Of course someone as OLD as you, Vicki deserves respect  Tongue

Linus, it sound like we'll have a good system going!

Why stop at France though?  We have the opportunity to go EMPIRE BUILDING!!!!!  After we secure a base of operations in France it's time to take back Asia Minor and our capitol city from you know who.  And we could easily solve the Israel-Palestine thing when we kick both of them out of the Holy Land.  See I have a PRACTICAL solution to everything.

Sounds like a stellar plan, but we will have to clear it through the Emperor Dustinian.

And I think we have enough vino and snails to spare for Vicki.  Grin

Imagine an entire Alpine mountain distilled into one bottle, and mixed with another mountain made of sugar.

All things are possible

BUT

The good wine has to be imported - and since our wonderful whisky is cheaper in France than in it's own country , that shoves France way above the UK

I think its not time for some one to stand up and say - GOD BLESS THOSE CHEESE EATING SURRENDER MONKEYS!!  They need something, since they have so magnanimously agreed to lessen the debt owed to them for their immoral contracts and business deals with the Butcher of Bagdad. Oh and french wine?  It goes PERFECTLY with snails! Lips Sealed

Grand Vizier? Emperor Dustinian?  Roberto? The French Coast is grand for pirates! David? I'm told by reliable sources Scotch is cheaper in France than the hi'lands...and Prodromos? you'll finally be in the same time zone with the rest of us!  Is it a plan?

I say we go for it.  But I reserve the right to own all of Provence as my own.

100 metanyes for that comment, boyo! The right to wage war rests with Emperor Dustinian.

http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/newboard/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=2501

Having participated in heathen worship, Roberto and I have declared that he is henceforth to be known as Emperor Dustinian the Apostate, and all warmongering will be decided by the Triumvirate, and not unilaterally.
