If Anne Frank had lived ... here's a possible diary entry for April 15.

Dear Diary,

This house has officially jumped the shark.  Justin Bieber showed up a few days ago and let me tell you ... I actually was a Belieber, until he started boxing with a bud in the basement. . . . .

Frankly ... I can't get past that guestbook entry, where he wrote, "Anne was a great girl.  Hopefully she would have been a belieber."

I read this like a few days ago and well...I just felt sad.
I reacted, but since this is a non-religious topic, I do not say anything further.

Edited.

Unfortunately I probably did/said dumber things when I was 19, but thankfully not on a global stage. That said, the jury's still out as to whether this... person... is actually human.

If Anne Frank had lived... she would be planning ahead for her 84th birthday party, so she'd want the young whippersnapper off her figurative lawn pretty sharpish.

Oh, he's human, alright.  That's what makes it so sad and pathetic.

Really, is there any proof that he is human?  I always thought that he was one of the drones of whatever species Nicki Minaj was.

Apparently having a ton of money and fame plopped into your lap as a teenager will make you inclined to say selfish and tactless things. Wouldn't have known it without the help of every major media outlet ever. Makes me thank God I'm fat and talentless.

It's more about the coverage of the faux pas. Does anyone understand me? Go back and read that nonsense.

Ah, didn't realize you'd linked to TMZ. TMZ is always terrible though. Like, even by the standards of celebrity-oriented media outlets. Just awful. But it gets people going I guess.

Yeah, I know. It was the first thing google put in the list of the aggregated stories.

I mean, I make off color jokes, let's be honest. But this thing is hackneyed. Lame. And thus just disrespectful and thoughtless.

I would rather read JamesR's take on the situation.

Justin,

This is my apology to you.

According to your actual words, you were told that Anne during her hiding kept various photos of celebrities she liked on her wall. You said to your groupie hanger-ons something like: Can you imagine if someone like that was a fan of yours? (Suggesting what an honor it would be have such a person as a fan.)

And your entourage thought it would be good to put that into a soundbite and have you write something more pithy in the guestbook or whatever.

Fire everyone you know and stop talking to Will Smith. I would trust my children with Michael Jackson and his medical team before I would trust them with him.

Ein beliebter Belieber,

Never heard a single song by this guy. I just youtubed some stuff.

I don't think he is going to be Michael Jackson or Justin Timberlake anytime soon. Guess he has about half a decade to his stride if he is going to.

Best of luck Justin.
