Quote
In the evening, Metropolitan Jonah attended the All-Night Vigil at St. Daniel’s Monastery in Moscow. He conveyed to the father superior of the monastery, Archimandrite Alexy Polikarpov, a part of the relics of St. Herman of Alaska honoured with special reverence by the Orthodox in America. Addressing the congregation Metropolitan Jonah said that common saints strengthen the unity of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Orthodox Church in America. He also said that his Church was preparing the canonization of a new saint, blessed Olga, an ethnic Eskimo wife of a priest, who died 30 ago in Alaska.

A site dedicated to the memory of Mka. Olga

Thank you, mike, for posting this.  This is the first I've ever heard about her and the short time I just spent looking her up online has been incredibly edifying and helped put some things in perspective for me just now.

A wonderful woman who truly followed her God with the same love and compassion He shows all of us. Smiley

Through her intercessions, may the Lord have mercy upon us and save us!

We are fortunate to have her as a Saint and need more American saints.
