International Festival “The Hajnówka’s Orthodox Church Music Days” is organized from 9th till 15th May 2010 in Holy Trinity Cathedral in Hajnówka, north-east Poland with the blessing of the Orthodox metropolitan of Warsaw and whole Poland Sawa.

The organizational committee would like to invite choirs to participate in the auditions. Polish and foreign, parish and secular choirs can take part in the festival. Presentation of each choir will be judged by an international jury, the experts from Orthodox church music. All the choirs will receive the diplomas, while the best choirs will be awarded with prizes.

All choirs willing to participate in the contest should apply to the social organizational committee no later than by 28th February and submit:

    * the application form (from festival’s webpage );
    * a phonographic or audiovisual recording;
    * a photo of the choir (jpg or 9x14 cm);

The preliminary classification of all choirs will be assessed by the artistic committee and its results will be forwarded to all applicants not later than by 15th March.

The repertoire of each choir should include not less than 5 liturgical compositions. The total performance time shall not exceed 30 minutes.
