I have just built my first Ikon Corner and am thrilled to be able to pray there.

I need an "icon scarf" about 36" long to go around the principle ikon (the Pantocrator,) which ikon measures 9x10".  All I can find on-line is ikon scarves 48" to 60" long.  Can anyone suggest a source for a shorter ikon scarf (perhaps someone who makes them on commission)?  I'm interested in having a Ukrainian-type embroidery on the scarf.

Also, where should I position the lamp which will hang before the ikon?  Should the lamp be situated directly in front of the face, slightly above the face, or completely above the top of the ikon?

I tend to use nice lace or velvet table runners I find in dept. stores (ok Walmart). They are long enough for my icon stand and I think look nice.
