My family and I live in a medium sized city in Oregon with a wonderful parish near by. But times are tough for us financially and living here is difficult...playing catch-up is the monthly stress and we've dug ourselves into quite a hole which, if something else needs money, we won't make it out of.
I was offered a position in another town, also with a nice parish in it, which would give us more income and my wife has a possibility of gaining not only a relocation to that town's store, but also a promotion.
This is all a big "IF".
I went for the interview, and due to the snow ( 3 hours turned into almost 5 - 1 way) and my chains breaking, and getting lost on my way there, I was only able to speak for 5 minutes with the interviewer. They said I might be able to get a phone interview today.
Haven't heard from them yet today.
Please pray for God's will to be done and our family be blessed despite the enemy's advances. - Simply Germain

Thank you for your concern - Papist
None yet really...I'm always working on something. I have a book in progress, links with a catering company turning restaurant soon (souschef position), small amount of unemployment, I instruct classes at a local kitchen store, my own consulting services company (just waiting on clients), plus services offered as a personal chef for the holidays including a previous employer who is hiring me for an event next month...but nothing solid (full time). With all of this, I stay very busy but not enough hard currency coming in.
I'll keep you posted if things turn around.
