Do you think that if people discover one of our PCs in the far future and see that it's not capable of displaying dates after 31/12/999999999, they will conclude that this date is the end of the world?
Also, whose GMT are we to follow? I guess it's the Mayan one, right?
Or will the end of the world come to Europe around seven hours later?

I predict on 12/21/2012 I will have a cup of coffee, go to work, get ready for the boxing Day Manchester United game, go poo (maybe twice), play video games, kiss my wife and son, go to sleep, and get up on 12/22/2012 late because it'll be a Saturday, and watch the news of how all these Mayan calendar folks had a "mis-calculation" and the new date for Armeggedon is "such-and-such" day meanwhile trying to sneak a peek at my Christmas presents.

So, what will happen Dec. 21, 2012? Predict it here first!
The mall will be crowed with last minute shoppers, traffic will be nuts, the Buffalo Bills will be in last place, my wife will complain about never saving enough money to cover Christmas, it will snow and mess up the roads, the grocery store will be out of poppyseed mix and apricot mix for baking, total chaos will reign in the house, the cat will chase the dog and knock down the tree- again - and we will go to sleep with a smile anyway awaiting the great feast of the Nativity - whatever date we honor, as long as we honor the Christ Child! |
