Invention washes away sins — without flu fears
Inventor finds a following with his anti-swine flu holy water dispenser

Source:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33863603/ns/health-cold_and_flu/

Question: Would it be fair to say that if people have fears that they could contract swine flu through holy water, then they have no faith in the holy water itself (or He in whose name it was blessed?)

Just wondering...

Does believing that God can bless water require one to believe that the water must then be antiseptic?

I remember from childhood there being a bottle of holy water, in a clear (not colored) glass bottle, perched upon a shelf along with the family's icons, which remained there for the better part of thirty years. This icon corner saw its fair share of sunlight, yet the contents of this bottle remained completely clear and uncontaminated for all this time. Do the same to plain water, be it rain water, or from a faucet (which is chlorinated in developed parts of the world), and it will turn green within weeks. The untreated water will deteriorate quickly, but even the treated water will go the same way after a short period.

So why bother with a gadget which "purfies" holy water??  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Tongue Tongue
