Rajesh Rao and his team of researchers at the University of Washington's Neural Systems Laboratory are working on a robot that can read your mind in order to train itself.

It seems to me that technology like this offers great hope, but I also think that, more and more, we rush to embrace new technology for its own sake without considering the effects that it will have on humanity in the long run.   I'm sure that if GiC were around, he would post a gizillion reasons here why I had nothing to be afraid of and how fantastic it is that we will be making great advances with robots and AI.   :laugh:  (But it would be good to know what others think of this, GiC included.)
