Mark's condition has worsened considerably in the past two weeks. He is extremely weak and has eaten very little in the past few days. A friend and his priest remained with him throughout the night yesterday and, from the remarks posted at his blog by friends and family, it seems likely that the time of both an end and a new beginning may be very close.
Lord, hold your servant, Mark, close to You, preserve him from pain, forgive him all the sins that he has committed by word or deed or omission, and make him ready to meet You.
