Just wanted to share a joy and thanksgiving
« on: November 04, 2009, 05:25:09 PM »
One of my very good friends and colleagues at our university, Dr. Kim Whitehead, was named Humanities Teacher of the Year in our state. Kim teaches creative writing and also a class called Religions of the World. Last year, she and a number of her students attended a Divine Liturgy at my parish (she is a very strong adherent of the concept of "experiential learning"). Father Chris perhaps remembers her.

I am just so happy for her and wanted to praise the Lord for this. Thought I might share this with you folks.

Good for her.

Praise be to God for all things!

Congratulations!

Glory to God!

Please pass my (our?) congratulations on to Dr. Whitehead.  She sounds like someone who deserves the honor. :-)
