I hope this does not seem a little trivial, but tomorrow I need to take my car in for inspection and when I looked through my glove compartment today, I could not find my registration!

I always keep it in there and do not know where it has gone.  I spent several hours cleaning my room today looking to see if I maybe brought it inside accidentally, but I have not found it yet.  Luckily, I renewed my registration online and have a temporary print-out registration.  I hope this is good enough for tomorrow (do I need to have a registration card for inspection?)  I'm hoping nobody took my registration card.

Prayers are much appreciated.  Thanks.

I would imagine you're not the first to be in this situation.  Hopefully the inspection guys will understand.

Inspection for what?  Emissions. They won't care, as long as they can identify the owner. That's even if they ask (IIRC they went by the serial number, VIP(?)

Lord have mercy, but I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I just dropped it off.  They asked for "insurance and registration."  I hope my temporary registration alone was good enough for them.  It had all the information that is on the official registration, except without the fancy official look.

I hope I don't get a call asking for my last official registration.

Lord, have mercy on Your Servant! Protect him from over enthusiastic bureacrats, and give him the patience to endure that which You give him for his salvation!

I got my car back and luckily nothing else happened.  My father, who drove me there, was a bit frayed I think, but everything is ok now.

In the US, car owners have to have their car emissions and basis car parts inspected on a yearly basis or so.
