Excellent idea
Have you seen poor Brigid's flag on the "who's online" page ??
She must be truly horrified -
And I don't even have one there [ and I did get my Saltire up for normal use ] :'( :'(

She must be truly horrified I'm sure our Brigid is a fair dinkum sheila (to use some probably outdated Aussie slang) but how did that happen?

How about we fix the Member Map so we don't have people in the middle of the ocean or in Africa when they should be in Ohio.
The member map is fixed, but people who can't figure out how to use the map mistakenly misplace their pin...

Is there anyway we can have it set up that we can have an option of just accessing the new posts since our last visit rather than the option of accessing the last fifteen posts?
I'm a forgetful old man and sometimes go thru a lot of posts I've already read before I realize it by using the last fifteen posts option. I'd rather have the PC do it for me!

I'd like that, because after I've been to bed for a night there are usually more than 15 posts when I get up and it's not always so easy to make sure I go through them all. Even if it was the last 30 or 50 it would probably cover all the posts unless I was away from the net for more than a day...God forbid!

That's a nifty idea, and one that I will have to give some thought on how to do. I'd have to devise some sort of EFFICIENT sorting method to do that, so let me put it on the drawing board. Thanks for the great suggestion Orthodoc and Peter. Bobby

Where? What about a feature on the reply option that references which post is being replied to? Just the message no. Sometimes I'm not sure which post refers to which post.

Well quote is OK as well when it is used. But in your post above I'm not sure what you are responding to, and in the longer threads where there are several conversations going on from time to time it can get even more complicated. Someone only has to post 'What a terrible thing to say' and I get a guilt trip about everything I've posted for the last week.

A good point Peter..the only problem is...it would depend on the user/poster to actually select which post he/she is replying to. Sometimes, when in a rush, or when using "quick-reply" they often neglect this. But I will definitely slot this for the next release or maybe the revision after, depending on available time. Bobby

If the redoc retsam would care to cast his eyes over this board http://www.adslguide.org/as you scroll down a thread [ think this may be a registered members only feature - if so PM me please] the new messages show up as a pinky colour very distinctive compared with old posts. Also they do have a' link to bit' on each header

Speaking of which, we used to have a poster by the name of RUM Orthodox....
Actually, "Rum" is Turkish for "Roman" or the equivalent of "Byzantine". "Rumca" is Turkish for the Greek language. Sorry that poster is not still around; he/she sounds interesting. Then again, he/she may just have been from Puerto Rico... Demetri

Back to the topic at hand....
For those of us who are willing, how about a feature where we can have our photo shown on our profile? Would be good for us admins/mods if no one else, but since many users have posted their mugs I think a few might be interested.
Whaddayouseguys think?
