I'm asking for prayer for both my wife and me. We'll be going to the doctor on the 12th (couldn't get an appointment sooner). In her case, her knee is continuing to give her considerably discomfort (from the fall at the airport). I pray that there is no permanent damage and that something as simple as therapy will bring it back. In my case... my headaches and dizziness just won't let up. The dizziness has been going on for about a week now. The headaches for about two months and frankly, I'm beginning to worry about so I'm probably exacerbating the problem (i.e. Senator Kennedy syndrome if you will). Anyway.. I am a great believer in the power of prayer so I ask for yours. I'll keep you all updated.

Yesterday our priest anointed me. This morning I prayed the Canon to the Theotokos and applied some oil that I have from the lamp from the tomb of St Nektarios. My appointment is next Monday (seems like such a long time away). Please continue to pray for my peace of mind and if He is willing, for my healing. I am a strong believer in the power of prayer. I know we ask for prayers here and I know it's easy to say a quick one and then sort of forget about that person. God forgive me, but I've done it myself. This has taught me a lesson now that I'm on the receiving end of things. Thanks.

Lin had her examination at the doctor's today and will go for MRI on Friday. He suspects (but MRI will confirm one way or the other) that it might be a lateral meniscal tear in her knee (of course, we hope he is wrong).
As for me, the head pain, nausea and dizziness appears to be an inner ear infection. He did blood work to determine if there was any inflammation. If so, they will do a biopsy to determine the best means of addressing the issue.
