I humbly ask for your prayers as I continue to prepare for my Chrismation which will be on October 18. While I am filled with excitement, I also feel incredibly unworthy. Please pray the Lord will guide me and help me cast off my sins so that I may live more fully every day within the Holy Orthodox Church.

Congratulations! Great news!
None of us are truly "worthy"....we just keep plugging away and trying to improve.
The Protection of the Holy Theotokos (Pokrov) falls on October 14, our parish (St. Mary the Protectress) is celebrating it's Feast Day on the closest Sunday, which happens to be October 18th.
I will light a candle and pray that Holy Birthgiver of God protect you and guide you, not only on the 18th, but, throughout your life!
