They've had a rough go of it lately, which is a shame.  But there's still a very faithful core in Cleveland.

I know the point you're trying to make, that a similar situation, because of his presence in the diocese might be theoretically possible, but (a) it's not an analogous situation, and (b) it looks like you're really just attempting to vent (and out of context).

You are correct that this is not an anal ogous situation.  Groping females and exposing oneself in public, while intoxicated,  are not as horrific as raping/groping little boys but these are still illegal behaviors. 

Almost ninety percent of alcoholics relapse after their first treatment/rehab.  Living alone without the support of a spouse/significant other is a variable that is highly correlated with relapsing. Bishops live alone without the support of a spouse /significant other.

All Churches and religions have problems like this.  My post was, in no way, an attempt to point a figure at the RCC as being the "only Church" which has issues like this.

It's a sham that the poor parishioners of these parishes have had to see their heritage be sold off for whatever reason.  A church is more then just a brick and mortar "worship space" but a lace that has a deep connection to the people who attend it every week.  This is made even worse by the fact that these churches are ethnic parishes and they served not just the wider Catholic community, but specific groups of people, many of them going back over a hundred years.

How can they,once closed, ever be replaced?
