Hey y'all,

I need some help with understanding what these two are; is this a calendar issue or is there more to it?  I visited another forum today (not sure if we're allowed to post URL's of other forums...) that calls themselves Traditional Orthodox.  Thanks.

P.S. Wasn't sure where to put this thread...

Gabriel, AFAIK, there exists Orthodoxy and there exists Heterodoxy. I really, really doubt that within Orthodoxy there can exist divisions into "Traditional" and "Other." I have a hunch that the people who declare themselves "Traditional Orthodox" might actually be Heterodox...

Hmm.  You may be right, George.  But on the forum I visited, there are posters who identify themselves as priests....

Here's a Youtube video that was posted on the aforementioned forum by a Traditionalist Orthodox about Traditionalist Orthodoxy.

GabrieltheCelt,

I'd recommend you read through some of the threads that have appeared on the forum since May dealing with ROCOR, the WCC, and the Old Calendarists. It should answer most of your questions.

Arius was a priest. And he managed to lead the vast majority of the Church into heresy.
