With the repose of Patrick Swayze, I thought it would be fun to discuss our favorite Swayze movies.  Everyone in the media has been talking about "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost."

My two favorites:  Red Dawn and Roadhouse!

Ghost (for REAL movies).

For fun/comic relief:  Point Break (notably the 10 minute skydiving scene).

I really liked Point Break. But Swayze's best movie was City of Joy. Here's the trailer (You'll need to scroll down a bit):

Not in any particular order of preference, but To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar; Dirty Dancing, City of Joy and Ghost are four films I enjoyed him in.

To Wong Foo is hysterical! I've seen it countless times and it still cracks me up every time.

I'd have to say The Outsiders.  He did an excellent job bringing the book to life.

Indeed ! My son and I plan to have a memorial viewing of Red Dawn this weekend.

That's the movie where the evil Cubans invade and overpower the US Army occupying the United States.
Ya gotta love the hutzpa.
