Your prayers are requested for me and my future ministry. I will be ordained to the Holy Deaconate and Priesthood this coming October. May the Holy Spirit indeed "complete what is lacking," which seems to be a tall order in my life (thankfully, the One Who "Are present everywhere and fills all things" would be the One Who can fill such a large order). Please pray for my family, that the Lord strengthen them during the upcoming transition. Thank you to those of you who have been friends (e-friends, or more personal) thus far in my life.
(If anyone wants, I can PM you details of when/where for the ordinations.)
*Note: this is not a farewell.

May God Bless you, your forthcoming priestly ministry, and your family.
P.S. From what I've read from you, it is not as tall of an order as you are indicating, but your indication shows a good sense of humility, which a priest who may be near death, recently told my spiritual father, is the characteristic most important for a priest to posses.

Congratulations! I will be ordained to the Holy Deaconate and Priesthood this coming October.
For how long will you serve as a Deacon before you're ordained to the holy Priesthood?

Congratulations! I will be ordained to the Holy Deaconate and Priesthood this coming October. For how long will you serve as a Deacon before you're ordained to the holy Priesthood? Word from the Metropolitan is 1 day. I'll be ordained a Deacon on a Saturday, Priest on a Sunday (1 here at my parish in Akron, 1 at my home parish in Cleveland). It would not be my choice of interval, but I understand why he's doing it this way.
