(Dateline OC.net Palace): The crowds of OC.netizens had been buzzing in their speculation that a new Moderator had been named. As if to confirm this rumor, white smoke was seen to rise up from the chimney known to be used by the Bowling Alley/Brew Pub/Darts section of the Office Complex.
FrChris strolled out onto his balcony afterthe customary resplendant trumpet fanfare. After acknowledging the crowd's wild applause, he spoke:
"After a series of discussions and debates, we are please to announce the new Moderator for Religious Topics in the Free For All Board:
Schultz!"
The crowd immediately roared their approval:
AXIOS! AXIOS! AXIOS!

Thank you all! I hope I can live up to the challenge. He always seemed mod-like anyway. A well deserved "promotion."
Funny thing, that. My wife told me after my present band's first performance that I have to "stop acting like a message board mod onstage". Apparently I was born to do this
