I have been going through some difficult times lately in my journey towards discovering Orthodoxy. Please pray for me that God will show me his will for my life and that he will provide me with the right words to say to others.

It is a challenge to speak the right words at the right time. I think that's one thing this website demonstrates. Many of us pound away at the keyboard without sensitivity towards those with whom we are communicating. Perhaps I am most guilty of all in this regard. I wonder how many Orthodox seekers have come across some of these posts and decided that they want no part of Orthodoxy. Why should they want ot be a part of a community that seems so uncharitable and vitriolic in tone. We must do better. I must do better.
I trust that God will lead and guide you to your true spiritual home. Just try to look at Christ and His Church, even when His children sometimes get in the way.

Praying for you and for all that have searched for God’s church and were made to feel ignorant, inferior, unwanted or illegitimate by representatives (members) of the Orthodox Church.
