Prayers for the USA
« on: July 04, 2009, 01:40:38 PM »
As we celebrate this, the 233rd anniversary of our founding, let us be mindful in prayer of all the benefits we have of living in this country, for our leaders (even if we disagree strongly with them), for those who are especially hurt by the current economic plight, for those in the military overseas fighting and giving their lives, for our fellow Americans.

O Lord, save Thy people and bless Thine Inheritance, grantin to Thy people victory over all adversaries and by the power of Thy Cross, preserving Thine estate.

Lord, have mercy!

God grant the USA many more years.

Lord, have mercy!

May these trying times be short lived, and may the USA be long lived.
Are you content with just being an intelligent hairless ape that just cannot resist the primitive urge to fling poo at people passing by,  just like a monkey in the zoo ?

Do you stay in the field and do the work that you accepted, or do you continuously run back into town and give people black eyes, or maybe push them down the stairs, because they don't do what you do ?
