My Son Aidan... :-)

« on: June 28, 2009, 08:06:35 PM »

Grace and Peace,

My wife is pregnant and we ask for prayers. Since I lost my job to the closing of our facility in March I did find another job but my pay is much less than what I had been making. Times have been tough but we welcome our pregnancy as a gift but we ask for prayers that God will see fit to give us a healthy child and for the health of my wife. Amen.

Congradulations on the baby, and may the Lord be with you and your wife in this time of hardship.

I found this in the prayer book:
http://www.transchurch.org/sguide/prayerbook.asp#Prayers%20in%20Time%20of%20Need

Quote
Prayers in Time of Need

Almighty God, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, come to my help and deliver me from this difficulty that besets me. I believe Lord, that all trials of life are under Your care and that all things work for the good of those who love You. Take away from me fear, anxiety and distress. Help me to face and endure my difficulty with faith, courage and wisdom. Grant that this trial may bring me closer to You for You are my rock and refuge, my comfort and hope, my delight and joy. I trust in Your love and compassion. Blessed is Your name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen."

Congratulations!  We originally chose the same name for our son, but eventually decided on Evan Micah. Smiley

Congratulations! Boys are a great deal of fun. Girls are too (I have three of them). But boys are a type of fun all their own.
