Byzantine Chant in Spanish
« on: June 25, 2009, 12:12:36 AM »
I am searching for Byzantine Chant in Spanish for purchase. I would be extremely grateful if you would direct me to the appropiate site/s.

P.S.   CDs only, I got rid of my 8-track tape player ::)

You can check out Liturgica.com which has an option to search by language: http://liturgica.com/cart/pSearchMusic.jsp

My favorite is the Coro Bizantino, but I can't find a way to buy their CDs online. I sent them an email asking, so we'll see what they say.

I had forgotten about liturgica.com! I've purchased a few CDs through that website.

I have two of Fr. Hill's CDs, I think he chants extremely well.

Thanks!

I have a couple of really good Byzantine chant CD's in Spanish. One is the Divine Liturgy and the other is the Paraklesis that are chanted by the choir of San Jorge (St. George) Cathedral in Mexico. I bought the CD's when I was in Tijuana a month ago. You can find their CD's on Liturgica.
